Born to a stockbroker mother and a high-profile attorney father, Katy Dolle was different from the beginning. She was a creative child -- playing the clarinet, writing poems and fictional stories, singing and putting on skits with her friends. To foster her talents, her parents sent her to French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in the catskills of New York. She spent 5 summers performing in musicals, dramas, and even circus acts on the trapeze. Finally during high school, she launched her professional acting career. Katy got her big break in a national Sylvan Learning Center Commercial, followed by her co-starring role on The District with Craig T. Nelson.

In order to hone her craft, she ventured to the prestigious NYU Tisch School of the Arts. While in New York, she studied at both the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Stonestreet Film and TV Studios. She also performed in several plays and student films. Katy graduated after just 3 years with a BFA in Drama, and then moved back to L.A. to kick-start her career.

Since returning to Los Angeles, Katy has appeared in Ghost Whisperer, 90210, and Everybody Hates Chris. She has produced and starred in the hit web series, Killer Chihuahua!...with Steve Kahn writing, directing, and editing. Together they began Kahn Artist Filmworks to develop more film projects. She is currently represented by Debra Manners at DMTA.
