Katy Dolle is a passionate, hardworking, spontaneous and versatile young actress.

Recent film: A Thousand Cuts (directed by Charles Evered) premiering in January 2012. Her TV credits include: Ghost Whisperer, The District, 90210, and Everybody Hates Chris. Katy is currently represented theatrically at TalentWorks LA. She holds a BFA in drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

Growing up in L.A., with an attorney for a father and a financial planner for a mother, she came out of left field with her interest in the arts. She loved poetry, spending hours pouring over Emily Dickinson and EE Cummings books, and even more time writing. There were so many stories she wanted to tell. She would often write and perform elaborate shows in the living room.

To foster her talents, Katy went to the French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in the catskills of New York. She spent 5 summers performing in musicals, dramas, and even circus acts on the trapeze. Finally during high school, Katy launched her professional acting career in commercials and co-star roles in TV.

After high school, Katy ventured to New York, and attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. There, she studied at Stella Adler Studio of Acting and Stonestreet Film & TV Studios. Katy collaborated with student filmmakers and performed in plays on the Adler stage. She studied abroad in Florence, Italy, where she learned screenwriting and backpacked across Europe. Katy graduated with a BFA in Drama, then moved back to her roots in L.A. to get back to work in front of the camera and on stage.

Katy's other interests include -- yoga, running, playing guitar, fashion, traveling, and writing.
